Something about this bloggie

Ok, I admit that I've failed somewhere before. But anyway welcome. Just a brief intro on what you should expect here:
1. Football. Not gonna post much of that any soon since season is over. :S
2. Anime, Games, etc. Just abt anything conceivable under the Japanese radar barring anything and everything Rule 34. Now that's illegal. Period. -.-;
3. Music. Everything to do with it is listed under the tab.
5. Unacceptable humour: Anything and everything is fair game here. As long as I don't get rounded up by the ISA. -.-'

6.
The Known World=Fantasy world building in process. I: Used to be glossary, now devoted to random rambling; II: Character Concepts; III: Lore.
7. der Wolf=my Fictionpress account under the moniker Tsumujikaze no Soujutsu. A Ranger's Tale is hosted under this page. :)
8. New section now upped. Maybe I should also gun for upping A Ranger's Tale here since I do have this funny feeling that traffic coming to here is way more than whatever I'll get in FP.

Statement of intent: Everything said here is a figment of personal opinion, be it me or anybody commenting. I try to be responsible, but my parents=/=parents of the world.

@Druid of Luhn: Crap. Should have remembered far earlier to give you the credit for your CSS text box code. :(

A/N: But sadly, it seems that your CSS text box code has now been halved efficiency wise. :(

That most important note I should have added: Any images posted in this blog are NOT my own stuff. I got them from Google image search, I don't earn any shit by being a thief and liar. Those responsible for the pictures, rest assured that you all are great artists in your own regards. Sadly, we all know what limited space means in terms of posting.

Latest Note: Changed alignment for my page widgets due to my worry that I can't centre align the thing.

Note on A Ranger's Tale: In case any complaining fella wants to have a legal case with me, let this be known that A Ranger's Tale is rated M by default. I've upped the swearing and somewhat a bit on the dark/gritty factor. You all have been warned, let no little boy and girl enter the forbidden realm.

Latest on ART: A Ranger's Tale now starting to kick back in gear. But I really hate the insanely fluctuating climate here in S'pore.

P.S: Oh, and one more thing. Vid below is yet another ideal OP for A Ranger's Tale.

Demi Gods and Semi Devils (aka my own half assed analysis)

Thank  goodness that the Neverwinter photo battle for the winter season will last 1 week. Originally, I was planning to do 1 or 2 of those. Sadly, I prefer doing this kinda stuff once I got enough sleep. Since I feel like doing something random, might as well do may own half assed analysis on what is arguably Louis Cha's one of (e.g. Sword Stained with Royal Blood and The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber) if not the most humanistic wuxia novel.

1st montage: Qiao Feng
2nd montage: Duan Yu
3rd montage: Xu Zhu
4th montage: Wang Yuyan
5th montage: A'Zhu
6th montage: Zhong Ling
7th montage: Mu Wanqing
8th montage: A'Zi
9th montage: Murong Fu

While one can never simply trust Wikipedia unless there's a green mark, lock, or a star, there are certain things which you'll know is true. That is provided you're in familiar territory.

The Eight Friends
In the Buddhist lore, there are eight entities deemed beyond human. Yet, they still remained bound to Saṃsāra, better known as the cycle of being human (that's the best I can explain it. Sorry). In short, these eight entities are still considered human in terms of desires and emotions. Below is how I'd classify the individual characters accordingly. Note that Louis Cha managed to troll himself upon realizing that his characters have gotten more complicated (read: more humane).

Deva
Duan Yu [段誉]
In Buddhist lore, deva is quintessentially an invisible entity. Unless there's a human having an (?) opened divyacakṣus (i.e. this). This is NOT to say that a deva=a ghost. Rather, we can easily equate them with the concept of "unseen beauty" or "unseen value".

Why him: Duan Yu would be basically one ridiculed as a loser by the standard of the society. However, this lucky lobo actually boasted innate talent (according to that fatso Yue Laosan [岳老三]) and/or pure dumb luck (talk abt having 2 smoking hot gf in the form of Zhong Ling [钟灵] and Mu Wanqing [木婉清]).

A/N: Despite whatever objective view I'm willing to take, I still resent the fact that Louis Cha decided to troll yours truly via the whole Wang Yuyan [王语嫣] deal. Makes sense to the cynics, but utter bs to the romantics.

Nāga
Qiao Feng [乔峰]
The Buddhist equivalent of a serpent, only that they're not evil by default. Also known as dragons [龙], the nāga are in charge of protecting the devas from the wrath of those who called themselves the asūras.

Why him: Qiao Feng was actually the master of the Eighteen Dragon Taming Palms [降龙十八掌], so we can see quite a bit of irony here. However, it must also be said that without the presence of water (i.e. seas, oceans, and rivers), a dragon is as good as ****ed. This is synonymous with Qiao Feng's character development where pretty much 60% of his story was a major identity crisis. That's until we got one bloody Hong-gi becoming his friend. No, I'm not referring to F.T Island. Rather, he's none other than the historical Yelü Hongji [耶律洪基].

A/N: Apparently, Qiao Feng actually taught us a valuable lesson in life-There are many ways to die, but only two ways to live.

Yaksha
Xu Zhu [虚竹]
Yaksha do have an interesting gender divide. If you're a gal, it means you're smoking hot. If you're a guy... well, let's just say that 'tis not so bad being Tyrion Lannister himself. Better known as guardian spirits of mother nature, the Yakshas are quite obviously seen as carefree.

Why him: Two words, one name. 'nuff said. Srsly guys... the real Xu Zhu was anything but a looker. Def not that other Louis. At the same time, above mentioned part on being carefree seemed to be... well, I might as well let the Carefree Sect speaks for itself: 逍遥派掌门.

A/N: I realized getting hitched w/that super hot princess of Xixia [西夏] is like calculating the likelihood of dating Taylor Swift/Daniela Hantuchová/Horikita Maki/Park Shin-hye. Depending on how you see this parallel, it can be either super scary or super lucky. Depends, I guess...
Maybe both?

Garuda
A'Zi [阿紫]
Natural enemy of the nāga, the garuda always enjoy snacking one or a few of 'em. According to the Buddhist lore, the garudas detest the nāga. However, they are also tasked with protecting the devas. Which sounds kinda weird... kinda like how jolly ol' McCain would welcome the Ayatollah singing "bomb... bomb... bomb... bomb, bomb IS..."

Why her: I know it sounds truly weird... but whatever she did in-plot seem to only further that most tragic ending Louis Cha has ever done.

A/N: I could have included You Tanzhi [游坦之] as well, but I prefer to put him under another category. I mean, why would I be so stupid to classify him as Qiao Feng's better? No proof that Qiao Feng would ever lose against this bloke mano-a-mano...

Gandharva
Xu Zhu [虚竹]; Qiao Feng [乔峰]
I'd call this Xu Zhu's grandest moment of reckoning. To every monk, being reborn as a gandharva is tantamount to being proven as a failure. The reason behind this is very simple: Gandharva is quintessentially one of, if not the lowest fella in this caste system. In short, being reborn as one means you've just attained level 1 for your basic ethics. Def reserved for buggers guilty of rape, murder, and victim blaming. Not that buggers in my context should be seen as gay though...

Why them: If you believe in karma (not that I buy it anyway), it means falling from grace=you've done something really bad. Unlike how those real caste supporting mooks view the dalits, there's nothing sinful behind both our heroes becoming untouchables. While it'd be utterly stupid to blame that princess for Xu Zhu's fall from grace, pointing the finger to those trigger happy dudes where Qiao Feng was concerned could be seen as somewhat justified. That is until we see this moment of revelation.

Asura
Murong Fu [慕容复]; Jiu Mozhi [鸠摩智]; Murong Bo [慕容博]; You Tanzhi [游坦之]; Xiao Yuanshan [萧远山]; Duan Yanqing [段延庆]; pretty much 90% of Duan Yu's problem [i.e. 父债子还]
Where should I start??? Okay, let's start w/the last one.

If there's anything in common between father and son, it'd be the tendency to get horny. Okay, I know this is too harsh a judgment on Duan Yu since his only moment of horny lust was actually instigated by Duan Yanqing (i.e. the numero uno of the Four Great Villains [天下四惡 / 四大惡人]. When I reached that part where Duan Yu was forced between having sex w/Mu Wanqing (who by then was alrdy unveiled as Duan Yu's "half-sister"), my heart ended up in my mouth. I was like... "oh shit, let this not happen..." Thankfully everyone managed to bail out w/o losing a hair or virginity. It'd be outright horrendous otherwise since Duan Yanqing was truly a scoundrel.

If only Duan Yu' dad nvr fooled around... ~le sigh~

Not only that, but it seemed that plenty of Duan Zhengchun's old flings might have developed some form of homicidal impulse. Note that only those marked w/* are to be considered homicidal bitches on a homicidal mission.

Dad had sex w/Li Qingluo [李青萝]*, therefore Wang Yuyan became my "sis".
Dad had sex w/Qin Hongmian [秦红棉]*, therefore I nearly had sex w/my "sis".
Dad had sex w/Gan Baobao [甘宝宝], therefore Zhong Ling's dad actually recognized her "bro" since I got bishonen looks.
Dad had sex w/Kang Min [康敏]*, therefore she became a mad bitch horny for my best bro forever. (okay, that's stretching the truth a bit far. Kang Min did try to seduce Qiao Feng though. That was after she's revealed to be a mistress of toy boys)
Dad had sex w/Ruan Xingzhu [阮星竹], therefore my best bro forever nearly killed you. (okay, I admit that Qiao Feng's anger towards Duan Zhengchun was unjustified since everything was instigated by that mad bitch Kang Min. Didn't prevent Qiao Feng from committing culpable homicide tho...)

Then we have Duan Yanqing. Ever wondered how would you feel if that man you loath the most said to others that "he's my son LOLZ!" Basically, that'd either make you a fake bastard (bloke's barking mad) or a real one (that man actually shagged your mom! OH, THE HORRORS OF HELL AND PURGATORY!!!!). Altho to be fair, it was Duan Yu's mom making the first move. Hell hath no fury like a lady scorned, said hell actually provided a road to heaven for her only son. I really envy that Duan Yu...

Ofc we have Qiao Feng's dad. This loony old man was actually the cause of Qiao Feng's misery. Even though his intention was well-meaning (i.e. he couldn't bear the sight of his son serving the enemy like an idiot), his methods actually played vital part where Qiao Feng's untimely ending was concerned. In short, I take back my statement on A'Zi just now. Wait,,, does that mean I should put Xiao Yuanshan as the garuda while A'Zi should be under the kinnara category? Grrr... I screwed up big time here...

You Tanzhi was a man hell bent on two missions. Mission 1 was to bump off Qiao Feng due to the debacle at the Juxian Manor [聚贤庄]. Mission 2 was to score w/A'Zi. Since the latter was so besotted w/the former (which led to that most tragic ending in wuxia novels), it means Tanzhi actually had to undertake two missions at the same time. One must NOT dismiss the impact which the tragedy at Juxian Manor had on You Tanzhi. In fact, his pseudonym "Zhuang Juxian" [庄聚贤] was not just a way of remembering the past. Above all, it's the glue preventing him from going all into pieces. On one hand, he desired A'Zi NOT b/c of lust. But rather he desired companionship. Something which he craved after everybody else treated him like scum. And all b/c of what? Because his family members were a pack of jerks? Hell no! It was the unforgiving society which chose to be that greatest jerk! Ironically, Qiao Feng was also a victim of that very same jerkass society. Ofc things didn't help that said jerkass society refused to empathize with the likes of A'Zi.

Then we have Murong Bo. This son of a bitch was arguably the architect of pretty much 99% of the tragedy so as to speak. Under the guise of a righteous man (fact was that the Murong family were an upstanding clan right from the get go), he actually instigated the conflict between the northern Song and the northern tribes. So how did he do it? Very simple. By giving fake info. No thanks to his dick dastardly strategy, a perfectly innocent family was forced to death. Long story short, poor Xiao Feng [萧峰] lost his mother to a bunch of bloodthirsty crusaders while his dad attempted suicide. The only catch? Xiao Sr never kicked the bucket. This was when he decided to create his own hit list (I mean Xiao Yuanshan). While it must be stated that Murong Bo's role in the plot was minimal, the impact of his ambition to revive the long gone Yan Kingdom was to be extremely severe (read: starting a war between the proverbial Crusaders and the metaphorical Saracens).

Then we have Jiu Mozhi. Now that bugger is really a damn problematic one. His lust wasn't towards women (since he's a legal monk) nor was it down to power (since his surname wasn't Murong). It's due to a hunger for more power. And all for what? It must be stated that his quest for power was to be that numero uno supremo in the martial arts world. There are many ways to earn respect and fame. Some do it through power, others relied on money. Then there are those who are desperately proving themselves in the name of merit. Jiu Mozhi belonged to the last type. While it's good to be competitive, going to the extremes can AND will have... well, as what the Freakonomics series enjoy quoting, "unintentional consequences". He tried to obtain the manual for the Divine Swords of Six Channels [六脉神剑]. Much to his dismay, unfortunately, the head of the Heavenly Dragon Monastery [天龍寺] managed to set down his holy orders in time. In short, Kurong [枯荣] ordered the holy book be cooked (and by that, I mean burning that manual). The only problem? As part of the Duan royalty, Kurong desired to have someone to inherit this super imba swordsmanship (to set the record straight, the Divine Swords of Six Channels didn't require a real weapon. Channel your ki via any one of the vital energy channels within the human body=this, I bluff not...).
As shit turned out, Duan Yu was the only one suitable for learning this. Why? Because only those from the Dali royalty [大理王室] had the right to learn it. This had nothing to do/ability, but rather the royal birthright. Scarily enough, it seemed that Duan Yu's memory was also super imba. Pretty sure he could easily recall pointless stuff happening more than 10 yrs ago (e.g. who were the ones bullying him 4 teh lolz).
In short, if you're good enough to remember useless stuff, it means you're old enough to remember important stuff.
As you can guess, Jiu Mozhi ain't givin' up just like dat. Pretty much 99% of his role was to hunt down Duan Yu, so that he could truly learn the power written in that holy book. As for the remaining 1%... well, let's just say that even utterly rotten religious bastards like him deserve a break.

If there's anybody capable of embodying the asura, surely it'd be Murong Fu. Just a brief intro on the asura here:
The asuras are seen as technically malevolent entities. This is very different from the other holy 7 in the sense that the rest actually have a decent/superior moral direction. The asura is one brimming with all kinds of negative emotions. One concept is that those departing to the asura realm are individuals who desired to do good, yet somehow managing to screw up by committing harmful acts (something which made Qiao Feng as qualified. Hate where such theory is going, man...). This is especially true for Xiao Yuanshan since the only immoral aspect of his character lies in the methodology (albeit good intentions in many cases tend to be subjective. Read: A'Zi). More damning assessment can be discovered here.

Was Murong Fu someone consumed by ambition? Well, I can pretty much liken his nature with his father. As they say, like father like son [虎父无犬子]. For the sake of his own selfish ambition, he cheated Wang Yuyan's feelings. For the sake of his own selfish ambitions, he desired the hand of that princess of Xixia (which culminated into that most fairy tale climax of the story). For the sake of his own selfish ambition, he had no qualms in spitting upon the basic morals of every human being. Yet, it must be stated that just like those doomed to be reincarnated as an asura, Murong Fu was a victim. He was a victim of circumstances, he ended up becoming his greatest enemy (something that I remembered to be part of the Buddhist dogma). For those who have seen the plot till the very end, I believe you all should understand what I'm talking abt. 'Tis ain't dogmatic rocket science, I'm sure of that...

To be cont'd...
b/c I too ****ing shagged out liao...
But don't worry, preview listed below.

Some character profiles for the Neverwinter Six

Got nothing better to do. That plus I realized some weird stuff might be happening behind my back. Ah well, guess it's b/c my head is now operating at 50% due to my lack of ability in adapting to the weather change in my homeland...

At the same time, I hope to do+finish a spanking new chapter for A Ranger's Tale by tomorrow. In case anybody w/a piss poor taste in literature really cares to know, below is the overall story on the next 2 chapters or so.
Scarily enough...
...it seems that I might have an inkling of an idea in terms of...
...how MacKay will set up his Wigan shop...
Maybe a few things thus far on my current trip around the great north of Faerûn:

1. For some funny reason, Myrreas of the Dalelands became the Indian chief twice in a row. Dungeons, no. Skirmish, yes. Who'd have imagine a rogue fighting for the glory of Helm?

2. Quite shocking on how fast I'm closing onto the end of 1st half @Mount Hotenow. Plenty of bs to go around tho if we're talking abt catching those sneaky bat kids. I caught around 20+ of them and yet, I still end up in bottom of the pecking table.

3. Too piss poor to afford 420K worth of AD. Why am I saying this? Because I need a coalescent ward to do a lesser Briartwine epic on my armor. T_T

4. It's better to gear 3 utility slots w/Dark enchantment on a lvl 5 each. Been fun using that Dragon's Hoard epic, but it seems that when it comes to fighting dungeons and skirmishes, you can go wrong w/a DDD vital stats so as to speak. And no, I'm not talking abt pr0n here.

5. Which means using DH and Fey as your utility enchantments is actually viable, but only if you're going Han Solo modal. Take note tho: You only have 3 utility slots to burn.

6. Back to Myrreas and being a knave. I truly doubt you can be an executioner w/a TR unless you're hell bent in playing the namesake paragon path. My choice is being a Saboteur. Arldy good enough that Myrreas was around 3rd or so in dishing out pain. Thanks for the dragon bone fish, devs. :P

7. Would it be better if you have tried completing around 60% or so of Sharandar and Dread Ring? To hit the Well of Dragons, you'll need a minimum GS of 10K. This is virtually the equivalent of elite Yanks busting Osama bin Laden years ago.

8. If you think trying to bust Osama's base is alrdy bad enough, wait till you try hitting Tiamat where it truly hurts the most. 1 initial screengrab prior to release actually shows a whopping 30K minimum GS requirement if I remember correctly. If this is truly the case for the first 25 member gangbang in Neverwinter's history, then be prepared for plenty of grinding. Or even worse, botting.

9. iirc I don't get the point abt botting. If you want to play the game, run the show like Cristiano "not that first" Ronaldo or control the show like Lionel "will I face him @England?" Messi. Even if you think your reflexes suck hard enough, there's no sin in trying to be your own José "O Especial" Mourinho or Pep "not you, Pep" Guardiola. In short, either you're cursed w/brawn, brains, or neither. Can't get even get a life via gaming, don't ever wish for a life in reality. That is unless your family is rich enough to keep you alive for more than 3 generations. Damn, Bill Gates really deserves our respect tbh.

10. I really hate the prospect of grinding. I mean it gets fun for a while. Aftewards...

11. Still a long way to unlock Shores of Tuern and Lair of Lostmauth. Normal requires min GS of 10K+ while epic ver requires min GS of 13K+

12. In a nutshell, this means I have more incentive to split my time. Ah well, at least I have 4 more lives. Namely work (as a porter in SGH), football analysis (despite my unattainable dream of becoming Karanka's field strategist), being blogger (and a piss poor one at that), and being writer (despite my unattainable dream of becoming Minister Kenyataan Akhbar with Prime Minister Tun G.R.R Martin as my boss).

13. WotC decided to troll the fanbase once again w/5th ed of D&D. Thankfully, no more of those outright crazy bs like that famously known "OMG! THEY KILLED MYSTRA!!!!!"

14. Okay, I admit the Spellplague is a good plot mechanic. That is if you're able to tide yourself over the fact that several big names actually got offed (e.g. Tyr and Helm). At least we got Torm kenna promoted. Now that's a good thing iirc.

15. Don't feel like wasting time on doing 4 foundry quests? I strongly recommend the quest "Tired of being the Hero" due to this being repeatable 5 times per day. If that pretender from Waterdeep offers you a whopping 8K worth of AD, you should know where to look.
Just a word of disclaimer tho: I do not profess to speak for the opposition party. Despite whatever claims laid by the Sons of Alagondar, both Arylos and Myrreas still remain as apolitical bastards in their own rights.

Hood of the Forest Warden
Automatically confers wearer the feats Uncanny Dodge, Camouflage, and Hide in Plain Sight even if without prerequisites.

Displacer Beast Hide Armor of Fortification+2
AC+4
25% chance of negating critical/sneak attack damage. Damage negated this way will be re-rolled as normal damage.

Lesser Bracers of Archery+2
+3 competence on attack rolls whenever using any bow weapons (excluding crossbows)

Cloak of Etherealness
On command, user will become ethereal. Effect lasts for a total of 10 minutes daily, but duration need not be continuous.

Boots of Striding and Speeding+1
Increase user's base land speed by 10 ft.
+6 competence bonus for Jump checks.

Oathbow
Of elven make, this white +2 composite longbow (+2 Str bonus) whispers "Swift defeat to my enemies" in Elven when nocked and pulled. Once per day, if the firer swears aloud to slay her target (a free action), the bow’s whisper becomes the low shout "Swift death to those who have wronged me."
Against such a sworn enemy, the bow has a +5 enhancement bonus, and arrows launched from it deal an additional 2d6 points of damage (and ×4 on a critical hit instead of the normal ×3).
However, the bow is treated as only a masterwork weapon against all foes other than the sworn enemy, and the wielder takes a -1 penalty on attack rolls with any weapon other than the oathbow.
These bonuses and penalties last for seven days or until the sworn enemy is slain or destroyed by the wielder of the oathbow, whichever comes first.

Short Sword of Expert Parrying+3 (off hand)
Automatically confers wielder the feat Off Hand Parry even if without prerequisites.

Short Sword of Fatality+2 (main hand)
Treat this as a Bane weapon against undead enemies.
Also counts as a weapon of Disruption.

Notable Skills/Feats/Exploits

Knife of the Feywild
Type-Exploit
Summary:
Flinging a dagger hidden in his boot, Arylos is able to infuse the weapon with pulsating arcane power.

Upon hit, enemy must make a difficulty check 20 for Fortitude save or die. To avoid death effect, target must achieve a score of 15 or above. If enemy manages to avoid death, it will suffer dazed condition for 1 round.
Knife of the Feywild counts as an active exploit.

Strategy and Tactics
Type-Feat
Summary:
His years in Wheloon might have created the survival expert he is now, but only a fool will scoff at Arylos by calling him a mere knave. Indeed as the Eldreth Veluuthra first discovered, battles were won not just through bravery and valor, but also planning and boasting a sharp wit.

Before any battle commences, all party members apart from Arylos gain one free action each. For every round of combat after the first, roll an opposed check using Arylos' Wis score against the highest Int score available. Arylos will gain the feat Combat Reflexes for free until the next round if he manages to pass the check.

Aspect of the Lone Wolf
Type-Skill
Summary:
Like Fenmarel Mestarin, Arylos has always been one who is more at home all by himself. Despite whatever vehement denial stated, the Eldreth Veluuthra knew that nobody else comes even remotely close in comparison.

Akin to the Lone Wolf of the Seldarine, Arylos has managed to hone his craft in survival unto the finest end. Whenever Arylos suffers a touch attack, you can choose to make a difficulty check for Fortitude save instead of resolving damage in the normal way.
Score 10 or below: Arylos takes damage per usual.
Score 11 to DC 18: Arylos takes half damage.
Score 19 or above: Arylos takes no damage instead.

A/N:Aspect of the Lone Wolf cannot be used against death attacks.
Add A/N: Yes, I know this counts as deflection bonus of sorts...

Escapee from Wheloon

Type-Skill
Summary:
His early years spent in the dark prison city of Wheloon, Arylos now still retains a semblance of the past. Combined with every detail of training received under Irion the Hunter, the young Forest Warden is indeed now the lord of his chosen art.

Arylos is treated as having both Survival and Escape Artist.

Plus some others as well...
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting; Track; Wild Empathy; Endurance; Animal companion (a Damaran Shepherd named Geist); Woodland stride; 1st favored enemy-Human; 2nd favored enemy-Goblinoid; 3rd favored enemy-Undead
[total ranger level: 10]

Sneak attack +1d6; trapfinding; Evasion
[total rogue level: 1]

Blade Storm; Stormstep Action
[total stormwarden level: 1]

A/N: Evasion per gained at level 9 for rangers is inapplicale for Arylos because he already have 1 level of rogue.

P.S: Shit... gonna try upping some conceptual quotes, end up burning too much of my time. Some more got 2 x bonus seals weekend event. Ah well, maybe I should try stirring some more shit before signing off...

Disclaimer!
Believing I will really pull the proverbial trigger is just like believing Aeranath will bed Alestrial Eliaden. Period. To put things in perspective, I give you this.

Aiorn Wyvernspur

Kory

That hantu @Hermit's Wood

Irion the Hunter

Potential hantu from the East

Respen Durothil

Jen (of the Moonstone Mask)

Whoever is the one sending Arylos all the way up till the Sword Coast...
Same as Jen...

New add: Forgot to add this old bloke in terms of Doomguide weirdness. Guess who?

And do I really need to mention the likes of Myrreas, Bhaasmond, Sheallyn, Cyrea, and Kareis. Will try to be creative for their last names asap. But not tonight.

P.S: Creating politics in Neverwinter plot-wise has never been so fun before. Not even those buffoons riding from Nesmé come close to whatever trollolol caused by Dagult Neverember and that mercenary cougar Sabine. C'mon, let's vote Renaer Neverember for president!*
*If shit indeed happens from the magical blokes from WotC, please be assured that I hold no accountability b/c I don't even have one anyway...

The Interloper Trilogy: Volume I (a list of chapters)

Tried my hand in doing a brand new lair, this time round helping the Emerald Enclave. Apparently, you'll need to use elixir whenever trying to do your own Han Solo. This is due to having whatever potion buffs certified gone if you happen to die. iirc Arylos became Kenny twice, both times at the hands of those black dragon mutants. Scarily enough, either they jumped on me post-mutation or I'm just plain stupid enough to take their piss head on.

Just a few tips whenever going lair mode...
1. Since we're talking abt lvl 60 lair crawl, make sure you buff yourself w/whatever major potions relevant. Trust me when I say sometimes/most of the time, you'll need at least 2 diff buffs.

2. If the game suddenly lags for whatever reason (mine kenna due to PC running backup in the middle), congrats. Via personal experience, I can virtually guarantee a wipe out at your own expense once your Shift tab animation frames got stuck halfway. As Oddrun's most famous quote goes: Yay! We're screwed! -.-'

3. You can actually leave your daily lair for another day if you don't feel like starting it today. This is extremely important b/c the devs might have nerfed major potion drops probability wise.

4. Believe it or not, it takes only a little bit of brain cells committing suicide bombing to make the most out of every death. For me, it took me 2 tries to calibrate correctly my skill set. In this case of killing drow and cultists, never go full retard by eschewing Split the Sky. Just don't ask me why it took me 2 tries to figure this out.

5. Aimed Shot very good in kiting. Bait those cultist bastards into jail ftw.

6. Against pre-boss run, better not use Commanding Shot first. Against boss, boleh.

7. Believe it or not, Rain of Swords is very damn useful in boss fights. I actually tried this against that drow mojo boss. Turned out my final fight no need to do retry.

8. The most difficult part in helping those ancestors of Greenpeace lies in triggering those damned bottled lightning. Unless you happen to be a Trickster Rogue capable of going MIA, chances are that you'll need to kill 2 golems in a single shot.
In fact, that's how I died via attracting black aggro...
9. In the event on pt 8 where you're left w/no choice, do StS+plenty of Fox's Shift. As attractive it might sound, don't do a Commanding Shot. Too many start up frames. Just do StS procc, shut up & take their $$$. That's why you'll need a maxed out Marauder's Rush if possible.

10. In fact, it's best for a party to do this if possible.

11. Now come to think of it, is it possible to attack the reinforcements first since those black bastards will die very fast w/o mutation?

12. Now come to think of it, def it's better to create StS procc setup>CS to kite>mod whatever fireworks in open terrain. If you're hell bent in fighting the lot near the lightning bottles, better for you to be a Guardian Fighter/Great Weapon Fighter. After all, it seems that the devs are now back in terms of buffing GWF.

So far so good, I've done 3 lairs including helping those blokes and girls from Emeraldpeace. One @Ebon Downs, the second one @Icespire Peak. Helping the Emerald Enclave is def much harder due to that stupid dark alliance between one cult and one entire ethnicity. Oh, and more thing. To enter the lair of dark alliance, one must kill that stupid spider woman first. Once you completed that shithole of a bigass cavern, you still have to face that same drider woman.

To Ms Komala aka my ex-superior @the-now-defunct 32 SIB: If the term spider woman sounds familiar to you, it means you're equally boliao as this ex-subordinate here. I mean Peter Parker got bitten by spider=Spiderman. You kenna bitten by spider=Spider Woman.

Please, hold your applause until the conclusion of the act!
A brief note on Marvel Heroes 2015 since I dunno when my engine will re-calibrate:
Apparently, using Excalibur's Sabre should be the best choice for every sword-build Nightcrawler. Using a Red Muramasa can be a real killer due to bleed stack+probability to nullify heal. Yet to try this on higher lvl tho since I've yet to try harder stuff like Cosmics and red lvl raids.
Now if only I can get Nate Grey's super duper armor.
Sadly, I dunno how power spec system works. :(

A/N: Since my planning sucks so much, basically it means Interloper will be done as a standalone trilogy. Which means this what-if project otherwise named The Neverwinter Six is waaay more ambitious than my real deal of a work.

Add A/N: Because I want to be seen as an alternate ver of Vincent van Gogh, allow me to say that the Interlude portions are intended as whatever shenanigans between those two gods upstairs.

Excerpt

[The game was set, both players staring against each other. One was both a thief and assassin, the other both dead and now the ruler of death. Both boasted of a common past, she who has returned belonging to neither. Gone was Midnight and Ariel Manx, no longer Cyric enjoyed whatever sanity previously had at Zhentil Keep.

"Kelemvor Lyonsbane..."

A name which damned his entire life, an existence mocking the Prince of Lies. The Black Sun desired nothing from the Lady of Mysteries bar outright dominion, yet it was the Great Guide himself who earned her love.

Granted nothing was already left countless years ago, but never a single bit did such a fact deter whatever immense hatred burning within the Mad God himself. The time for petty games now at end, upon the chessboard lain the fate of Faerûn. Only two chessmen were seen at both ends, one for the Mad God and the other belonging to the Judge of the Damned himself.

"Allow me to introduce my champion, dearest friend and enemy," purred Cyric, his fingers caressing an ivory figurine in the image of a human. As for Kelemvor, he stayed silent.

"Issil Dragonbane, he who has truly slain a dragon. Unlike some pathetic pretender of a giant cat."

Again, the Lord of the Dead ignored the scarcely hidden insult leveled by the Lord of Three Crowns. Cyric frowned in blatant anger, a moment seemingly brief going on forever. Then he who used to carry the name Lyonsbane spoke out.

"Behold my champion then, Cyric. One who is part of Or-tel-quessir, but never to be one at all."

"An interloper no different from a living dead then. My, how have we both fallen. A pity our dearest Lost Goddess is no longer around."

Ignoring Cyric's cruel taunt, Kelemvor knew better than to argue home the truth. That Mystra has already returned.

"Issil Dragonsbane may have slain a dragon by merit, but have you truly tasted the raw power hailed from the Weave?"

Momentary confusion at first assailed Cyric, then something abruptly dawned onto him. Cursing both Mystra and Kelemvor, Cyric should have tried killing Ariel Manx before she called Dweomerheart home. Indeed as both a thief and murderer while still being mortal, chances were aplenty. Just that nothing had been done.

Turning his back, Kelemvor knew beforehand that Cyric wouldn't attempt stabbing him from behind. Both understood the potential manner of consequences, the Lord of the Crystal Spire uttered forth an advice most damning.

"Your Issil may answer only to your whims, but the power of Feywild answers to nobody."]

The Solar Trilogy; Volume I: Interloper (the real deal)

Okay, server down, not gonna waste my time waiting 2 hrs straight. I mean I need to sleep, okay?! Thankfully I managed to redo the invocation quest in Sword Coast Adventure. Take note, ppl. In case you've yet to realize it, extending your Celestial Coins shelf life by 30 hrs regularly is the best way to regulate your real time.

Immediate target(s) to achieve
1. Get that damned tier 1 Epic Forest Warden body armor (apparently, some crazy Neverwinners actually did an equally batshit crazy test drive here).

2. Exact my much desired vengeance on that damned Dread Caves dungeon boss (have to admit I've gotten over whatever mutiny happening N ages ago, makes it easier for me to blame that masterbrain).

3. Score that final damned Briartwine shard (realized I got myself really damned lucky in getting shard no.3 due to Dungeon Delves event switched on. Lol I only noticed "12 mins remaining" when I exited from Idris' Black House).

4, Doing a damned run out for Gray Wolf Den. (Got a rough idea on how to screw the boss, but def need countless Kenny moments to prove whatever theory bs relevant).

5. Get one Unicorn tier body armor in the most likely event where I actually scored myself a whopping 90 seals (and tbh, it's far more economic friendly compared to keeping your fingers crossed).

6. In the event where pt 1 or 5 gets accomplished, gonna start hitting Rothe Valley. 3 more tries before getting Cloak of the Emerald Enclave, further 20 hrs more before scoring a random Unicorn tier equipment (wait... then why I so damned stupid to temp buang Rothe Valley????? Some more got title leh!!!!!!!!)

7. Try doing an actual foundry. Been wanting to do a foundry, too much of a lazy bastard to do so despite alrdy hitting max lvl for dunno how many weeks liao...

Some interesting conjectures...
1. Running any given campaign quest at your current lvl depends on two things: current lvl (atm only for ToD) and current gear score (for the rest). Basically, it means running ToD asap would be far more advantageous in both the short and long run. This>Proof that I really stupid.

2. Gear score factor also works the same for Gauntlgrym mine craft.

3. If you see anybody putting the [Looking for Party] tab in the name of dragon killing, pls don't laugh. Yes, I know it's 100% possible to finish any given ToD quest in solo. But it doesn't really give you the license to troll that poor fella. This is NOT a conjecture, but a basic rule of civility.

4. Apparently, getting a random shard IS possible if you happen to be a skirmish bum. Scored myself a few during the Call to Arms event for Pit Fight. Also got myself 2-3 of those while doing Wild Hunt rush. Again NOT a conjecture. Got problem w/the c-word, go take a plane to either Cambridge or Oxford.

With all clearance done, let the show begin!

The Neverwinter Six: The Solar Trilogy (to be cont'd ofc!)

Starting on ART latest chap, finally got the motivation to do something useful to my future apart from analysing football. Sadly, it seems that either I'm destined to Teesside or somewhere under the tutelage of G.R.R Troll. But firstly...

Something which others have alrdy knew...
Tried my hand in killing the mastermind behind the Whispering Caverns, turned out to be total failure. 3 ppl disconnected (note that by getting yourself disconnected, it doesn't mean  a thing unless you've made it clear beforehand that Ned Stark has just summoned you for public execution). The most retarded thing ofc is not abt whether the Night's Watch are starting to desert, but rather the fact that we got 2 more new ppl coming in and that they can't get themselves into the fray. I swear this must be some kind of trolling b/c when you joined in any party instance AFTER shit has begun, you should be popping up at the latest campfire. I know b/c I've been through it correctly twice.

With the ranting gone, let's just take a look and ask ourselves how in the blue hell can we kill that stupid underground kraken.

1. To end the mastermind is to kill off the troll asap. Note that I am using singular here.

2. The longer you delay, the faster you die. It's like Le Professeur playing football against Big Sam back when Arsenal ended up getting totally arsed by Dougie "hopefully still Super Doug" Freedman's ex.

3. See the brain, kill the brain. The moment you see tentacles coming up, be very sure that the devs must've been influenced by that weird Japanese stuff called Saya no Uta.

4. Take down the tentacle asap, this requires team effort. In short, there's no sin in ganking a cheesy AI.

5. And speaking abt cheesy, all you need to switch off the brain is this:
a. Apply plenty of damage increment buff+debuff.
b. Once the tentacle goes down, it means you're legit to either apply brain death or go brain dead.
c. Thankfully, the devs decided that trolling isn't cool after the anti-trolling bill introduced by Downing Street. In short, you can expect plenty of mob chase when dealing w/the tentacle and nigh kosong mob spawn afterwards.
d. If you happen to play HR, pls for the love of the devs, do NOT stray from the mastermind! This is extremely important b/c firstly, it doesn't make any sense for you to shoot pot from afar when in fact point blank firing is merely considered a rare scenario. Secondly, staying afar means straying afar. Can't blame you for initiating mob chase for this instance.

6. I actually learnt that the hard way. That plus pulling off Split the Sky is extremely vital if you happen to be a Stormwarden. Combat, Archery, or Trapper, the Rock has this to say. You won't become Ciro Immobile overnight, but at least you can add in damage plus toasting an immobile mob all for free.

7. Which now comes to switching stance+Clint "not Joey" Barton's semi-namesake. If you can't even do this at lvl 60...

Epic Enchantments I'm now out to get...
Frost
(current no of shards: 1)
Need this apply Recovery debuff. In particular, solo killing a cultist mob can be extremely excruciating due to absurd AP rate. Especially useful in dragon kill.
Feytouched
(current no of shards: 1)
Even more kisiao due to that 3% rule. I encourage trying this against Lostmauth and Severin 4 teh evulz.
Lightning
(current no of shards: 2)
Gonna use this for my TR.

Barkwood
(current no of shards: 3)
Gonna use this for my TR. Then I realised I accidentally bound it on my HR. I so damn retarded sia...
Briartwine
(current no of shards: 2)
Once I get 4 of this, I'm gonna pull off a fail-proof merge due to me being lucky enough to earn my 1st Coalescent Ward at my 1st try in getting Coffer of Wondrous Augmentation. That plus I firmly believe getting 3 more Feytouched from Arylos' betters @Sharandar will require some bloody anal 4D luck.

Which now comes to...
The Neverwinter Six: The Solar Trilogy

Interloper
Rebel
Dreamer

Volume I: Interloper

"Remember who you are, do not call yourself for what you are. Time will change every one of us. Humans, elves, and dwarves... we all are victims to our years. If only the gods can never change, then you alone must decide whether Kelemvor has watched over you."

Those were the last words young Arylos heard from that only man he called father. No one knew the elderly warrior's name, not even the young wood elf himself. Yet, he could never forget that fateful day where his only kin was brutally taken away by death. Death by arrows and the sword, death at the hands of those who worship Shar herself...

"Have you heard of it? We are accused of plotting outright rebellion! You have nothing to do with this, so leave! Far better it is for one to suffer than both!"

1479 DR, the year where Wheloon has officially became a prison city. Here, only the mighty ruled with an iron fist. None has ever traveled there, no one has ever escaped from its walls. If the past could be seen as kind to Arylos, then the present was anything but that. Distrusted at best and mostly hated, the wood elf has carved out a minor repute as a ruthless survival artist. Memories of Sharran cultists haunted his every step, any move made would surely invoke the ire of those around him.

Yet, little did Arylos know that what appeared to be an everyday occurrence would herald a new life for him. Life as a proper Or-tel-quessir, life as one who could never belong to his own people. A ranger blessed with a tactical mind unrivaled, an interloper cursed with the name of Kelemvor murmured in his heart. From Cormyr to Waterdeep, from the Crown of the North to what used to be the Jewel of the North...

"This must be where my life starts now. The beginning of my years and the end of my time."

The first volume of this trilogy will take the readers on a journey like never before. It will be a journey of adventure and loss, a journey of questions asked. Here begins a story about life and heroes, a tale of those soon to be known as The Neverwinter Six.

Forgotten Realms: The Neverwinter Six

Tried to re-kicking my ART engine, realized I might need to swear off the PC first due to the most obvious. Or at least I need to invoke, then straightaway exit the game. In case you guys are wondering wtf this post title is all abt, rest assured that you'll know the answer verily soon.

In other news, my beloved Boro has yet again courted the mockery of Steve, Carl, and Benny. 2-0 to Wolves, at least we're still 3rd. Ah well, at least ufotable mina-tachi managed to alert me to something special...

But firstly...
Allow me to express my thanks to each and every of my fellow Corsairs from Luskan for giving this stupid crew mate one hell of a blast in raiding Gauntlgrym. While I cannot comment on my Delzoun rivals, it's actually 100% refreshing to have 4 intelligent ppl leading the way. One problematic issue w/Domination is the fact that once you get yourself into a fix, chances are that it's b/c your team mates are equally dumb, if not dumber. [1] I've had the unwanted experience of getting a runt or two swearing off the rest. [2] You see, it's one thing to call your PUG mtes morons, quite another to realize that even a n00b knows how to cap. [3] Domination is for wolves, not cubs. Thankfully, I've had the honor to fight alongside plenty of wolves in Gauntlgrym.

Now it must be stated that Gauntlgrym is for those who understand organization. It is a battle between the Shinsengumi and Isshin-shishi, it's the Faerûn word for the Boshin War. Firstly, let me say that you'll need prolonged exposure in watching Angelina Jolie in order to perfectly understand the finer art of tomb raiding. It's easy to run about like a headless chicken, quite another to have a duergar taking off your head. The duergars in Gauntlgrym are not just pure evil, but also tough evil. If your gear score numbers less than... like 6K or so at least, chances are that you won't survive getting ganked by 3-4 of those dwarven terrorists.
If you happen to be a Control Wizard or Scourge Warlock, chances are that you'll be able to CC them to death.
If you happen to play a melee striker, good luck to you b/c you'll need plenty of that. [4]

The thing w/fighting Gauntlgrym is this:
There are specific zones meant for specific purposes.

The Forge
For those who are new, I suggest sticking to re-forging weapons after your betters and seniors manage to acquire enough fire to flame the forge. If you happen to kill a fire elemental or three so that you can loot their fire, you better rush back to the forge asap before it officially gets flamed.

The Iron Stables and Water Pump
Same as above, just make sure you don't try multi-tasking. We, the citizens of S'pore, are good at doing this b/c of the society, but trust me when I say intelligent ppl tend to focus rather than to scatter-focus. Either you water the pump or you flame the forge, either you kill earth elementals or fire elementals. If you're not busy re-arming the infantry at the forge, make sure you start re-armoring the cavalry.

Kill dwarven terrorists, kill their boss
Killing the Blasphemer is extremely tricky. You don't go toe to toe w/the Head of Terrorism mano-a-mano unless you happen to be the Manny Pacquiao of Neverwinter. Even then, it merely means you're not necessarily Pinoy. There has to be strict coordination between members. Kill this head like Manchester United, NOT Manchester Dis-United. My suggestion is very simple for those cursed w/gear score of 7K or less: let those who know the game deal w/him. Gauntlgrym is extremely huge and its terrain are peppered w/fire, earth, and dwarven terrorists. Crypt raid is NOT dungeon raid. Which means you'll be allowed as many human team mates as possibly allowed. Therefore, you must discern which area you're gonna zone. Then decide for yourself whether by killing the HoT, you'll be awarded the title of Clegane Slayer.

There is PvP and there is...
PvP actually takes place at the same time as stage 2. Which means it's up to you whether you'll want to join in the proverbial Royal Rumble or stay back and pump in supplies 4 teh lulz. My suggestion is very straightforward: do NOT click that obscene button unless you manage to secure at least 1 key advantage out of the possible 2. Why I say this is NOT b/c I'm out to discourage ppl from learning PvP the cold hard way. Rather, you'll need manpower to secure tactical leverage for your team. Either your buddies manage win the artillery competition or getting the Mega Big Show himself to aid you. iirc if you lose out on both, then allow me to quote a buddy from TFF her fave quote:

Yay, we're screwed! -.-'
~credit to Oddrun who happens to be a German. [5]

After securing either or even both advantages (that is if your team is absurdly efficient enough. Pls be clever and watch the meter in blue), you can have 2 choices: join in the fun or continue supplying help. At this point of time, it depends on whether you're game for doing PvP. If yes, then be mentally prepared to get yourself killed more than 10 times, intelligent friends or no intelligent friends. If no, then you might have to knuckle down doubly hard b/c chances are that many of your faction-mtes would be out going mano-a-mano against the rest. In short, you'll have to gather a whooping 5 elemental materials at one go rather than just one piece per interaction. iirc, this would be when the PvP is its climax.

Fardelver or Dwarf King?
It depends on whether you're a tomb raider fit for a king. If no, then you can only run Fardelver. If yes, then you'll need to decide which one to go first. Via whatever I've seen in the team chat, it seems that plenty of Neverwinners prefer going on a FC speed clear. For my case, I prefer queuing for Dwarf King. Now the one thing is this: Before taking the leap, make sure you do two things:
1. Situate yourself at the relevant crypt.
2. It doesn't hurt to be extra careful by posting in the chat where you'll want to do the raid.

Trust me, you wouldn't want getting yourself into the wrong crypt. I was stupid enough to commit this mistake earlier today.

Oh, and one more thing: Do NOT speed run! Gauntlgrym dungeons might be straightforward terrain wise, but it's residents are anything but that. In short, don't even contemplate joining the Gauntlgrym events if you can't handle the heat. I've had this experience of getting myself on the receiving end for Fardelver, but at least I know this was my team mates having a minor lolz rather than truly allowing me to sink or swim. [6]

The Neverwinter Six: Solar Trilogy

What is a hero's worth? Is it his present or future? Perhaps even neither, for every man is a child of his past. It's like understanding a tree. Lastly the canopy, secondly the trunk, and firstly its roots.
~Herial the Warder

Neverwinter, Jewel of the North. A city which has seen its glory long gone by, the legacy left behind by Lord Nasher Alagondar now in tattered ruins.

The Spellplague, mother of the Wailing Years. An event set off by the god of murder and goddess of the night. The day Mystra perished became a decade of woe. Mystra may have returned, but what else more?

Open Lord Dagult Neverember, ruler of Waterdeep or Neverwinter?

The Hero of Neverwinter, legend or a knave?

Kelemvor and Cyric, Selûne and Shar. The battle is now set, a game of chess no mortal can ever hope to play.

To be cont'd...

[1]: Just don't ask me whether Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are now at Gauntlgrym.
[2]: Ok, I'm being hypocritical here since I'm only 1.6. Still, bailing out halfway just b/c you're some immature prick is 1000 x more uncool than Carlito.
[3]: For those who enjoy calling others retarded while having 0 kills/assist, Iron Man has something to say.
[4]: It is also for this reason that Hunter Rangers tend to be ridiculously powerful ONLY in the hands of those verily best in the business. I mean why should you play a HR or TR if you can't even ****ing master the dodge mechanic?
[5]: Now to think of it, it'd be damn scary if my future gf has a friend living in Germany, Hamburg or no Hamburg.
[6]: Somehow or another, it seems that I might have gleaned a decent or far better rep as some ARPG n00b.

Nothing better to do, time to stir shit

Realised that I'm playing too much Neverwinter. Realised that I cannot play Domination due to lottery factor. Realised I need someone 100% alive to kick me up the arse so that I can somehow re-kick A Ranger's Tale and Rogue Economist back to life (in particular, Kork M.Hancock needs critical care and resuscitation). But firstly, let us enjoy some girls, drinks, money.

Seriously guys, the original McCoy was INDEED entitled Girls, Drinks, Money. True to its nature, MOGEF wasn't amused.

On girls

Lars Alterfate: There are only two types of girls worthy of my fancy. Whores and the domineering type.

Caylon the Swift: That's interesting. Pretty sure I belong to the second type.

Lars Alterfate: Gutted to say you're too much of a lady, too little of a decent lass.

On dreams

Garyth Parkins: Enjoy those minstrels' tales while they last, Guy.

Guy Cody: Why?

Garyth Parkins: Because wherever heroes are, monsters will be there.

Guy Cody: That's the whole point about being a hero, right?

Garyth Parkins: You know nothing, laddie buck. But very soon, you'll know everything.

On money

Tristan Ajax: Women and ale, these are the two things a man can't do without.

Aeranath: You forgot to mention money.

On marrying beneath self

Louthes Eliaden: That boy resembles too much of yourself, Moggray.

Moggray Tonn: I don't like where you're gonna take this, Louthes.

Louthes Eliaden: I do not desire giving my daughter's hand to him. If Alestrial must marry, and she will, it must be someone like Jarvis Dukas.

Moggray Tonn: I don't want to see Guy Cody ruined like my past.

Louthes Eliaden: So it's settled then.

Moggray Tonn: If only that girl of yours stays happy within the next two years. Don't forget how you ruined Emma just because I chose to back out.

Louthes Eliaden: Stay your tongue, Northern Lion. Know your status and rank.

Moggray Tonn: Fuck your status, fuck your rank, fuck you.

On power and lack of rape

Eliador de Lioncourt: Power is not a flickering flame, but that most fickle lover.

Alestrial Eliaden: And I truly hope it will leave you soon enough.

Eliador de Lioncourt: Still a brave girl cursed with little sense, I see.

Alestrial Eliaden: And what will you do about it? Buying other men to rape me again?

Eliador de Lioncourt: This, I will not. You are too powerful an individual to be raped again.

Alestrial Eliaden: You monster.

On Elves and sex

Karen Tenias: Is this what you Elves do?

Conwer de Ladrun: If you mean getting yourself penetrated in three areas instead of just one... well, yeah.

On more Elves and one more Elf

Karen Tenias: You also joined your underlings in their debauchery, am I right?

Kerstein de Bladefort: Woman, watch your tongue. I would have forced you on the bed if you're not so valuable a pawn.

On death and more sex

Tristan Ajax: Just curious to know when was your last kill?

Kerstein de Bladefort: Two days ago when I was having sex with a whore.

Tristan Ajax: You killed the whore?

Kerstein de Bladefort: The assassin happened to be her.

Tristan Ajax: I stand corrected then.

On beauties and the beasts

Karen Tenias: I should never have loved one like him.

Hazel de Halfbeau: Yet there you are, totally infatuated with our Wraith Lord.

Karen Tenias: Alas, this I know.

[=] [=] [=] [=]

Lolyx: How did I get here? You better give me an answer, Goldie.

Lars Alterfate: We got here by becoming a flock of crows.

Lolyx: Don't mess around me. If I have a club...

Lars Alterfate: You wouldn't able to do so anyway. Tell me what you see before realising we're here.

Lolyx: I... I saw... a...

Lars Alterfate: What you've seen is a being of a thousand beasts. Someone worse than Demons because of the souls devoured.

[=] [=] [=] [=]

Lukas Brun: What will you do if your beloved one day becomes an animal?

Alestrial Eliaden: Guy will never become one like you or some others.

Lukas Brun: Some others? Fairest daughter of Eliaden, I know a lion when I see one.

Erik: You can try leashing a wolf at your own risk, lassie. Don't say I didn't warn you if your hand gets bitten off.

Alestrial Eliaden: You speak of Aeranath like some sort of savage beast.

Erik: A wolf knows best the sinful man. This is a common sellsword saying and Aeranath has lived more than long enough as one.

Alestrial Eliaden: As a wolf or sellsword?

Erik: Both.

Kagetsu no Hyo'Ah: This savagery doesn't disturb you at all?

Aeranath: Do I look like your dog?

Moggray Tonn: He resembles too much like me.

Southgate Garatt: I'm afraid the Northern Lion might have been surpassed by the cub. Sorry to break this to you, Moggray.

Moggray Tonn: That's why I say he resembles too much like me.

Fergie Malom: I've yet to seen a fighter crazier than Garyth Parkins himself.

Joes Mouriz: That is until his laddie buck arrives at Merseyside. You may be blind at first, Fergie. But I'm not.

Lolyx: That man gives me the shivers when we first met. How could you live with him for so long?

Ceres: Because he saved me when I deserved no mercy from my captors.

Lolyx: But they're all rapists! Or at least that's my guess.

Ceres: You're right, Lolyx. They're out to rape me. Arondight may be a beast, but at least he saved me from evil men.
