Before I go take a nap...

Might as well give myself a physical challenge first...
And it has something to do with a couple of new characters being done. Concept wise only, of course. ;)

Tristan Ajax

Certain concepts planned...

Conceptual quotes

"This is Tristan Ajax, drunkard and a patron of whores. But above all else a hero failed to be one, an unrivalled bowman betrayed by the loftiest of ideals. You will do well not to mock him, young Lion of the Fianna, for if even the Serpent himself cannot perceive a particular person's wit in war behind the facade of a strong oaken arc, what does it tell you about one of They Who Strike Alone?"
~Sarel Aphros

"A serpent is one which manipulates. And to do so, one must plan a step beforehand. Yet try outsmarting a fox and you'll discover that no amount of planning in advance can stand up against the ability to adapt."
~Eliador de Lioncourt

Conceptual (most badass) dialogue

Lars Alterfate: You know one thing, my Sudhlit friend? We do have a lot in common. We're both not gay, we're both patrons of whores and wine... and what else is there most common between us apart from being too self-cynical at times?

Tristan Ajax: Nothing else, I guess. That's why we can be real friends rather than a false pair of siblings.

((()))

Alestrial Eliaden: You say I'm still unprepared for the world in spite of whatever I've been through, why?

Tristan Ajax: Are you a lady of war or just merely a lady of battle?

Alestrial Eliaden: Is there a difference?

Tristan Ajax: You can easily win a battle, but try winning a war and you'll realise that more often than not, the greatest liars will be the ones understanding the truth about actual warfare.

((()))

Tristan Ajax: If I have a small army comprising of seven womenfolk for every ten combat fit man, what is possibly your first reaction?

Guy Cody: A good chance to attack.

Tristan Ajax: And? Is there anything more than that?

Guy Cody: You used the word 'possibly', not the term 'should be'. Need I answer anything more?

Tristan Ajax: You don't have to say anything more for now because you've learnt well, young lion.

((()))

Aeranath: Tell me one reason why we're both the same.

Tristan Ajax: Because we both like and hate the same things.

Aeranath: Really?

Tristan Ajax: We both like shots and bitches, we both hate assholes in general.

Aeranath: Because only an asshole is capable of lying without having to call himself a bastard.

Tristan Ajax: And everyone is a bastard in his own right.

Aeranath: A good shot. Here's my toast to you, friend. Long may we continue fucking bitches and the world alike.

And perhaps most of all, this:

"I'm truly a drunkard, but at least I pay my rightful dues on time. I'm definitely a patron of whores, but at least I know how to respect one. Simply put, have you ever seen such a most righteous man before?"
